Do you wonder what is going on when you go to Mass? Why does the priest do certain things - like wash his hands? Why is the Mass set up the way it is? Father Mike Depcik (a Deaf priest) is coming down to Urbana on APRIL 18 to tell us all about the Mass! The workshop will start at 10 am and end at 3 pm, with a break for lunch at noon. After spending the day learning about Mass, we will celebrate Mass with the parish community at 5 pm (voice/Sign interpreted as needed) and then have dinner together.
Registration will start at 9:30 am.
COST: $10 per person
WHERE: St Patrick's Parish, 708 W. Main Street, Urbana, IL (Corner of Main and Busey) The workshop will be held in the parish center, to the East of the church. Enter in the door on the NORTH side of the parish center. I will have a sign up on the correct door.
